If anyone has any okra & would like to trade some flower seeds for them (please) let me know so I can send you a list of what I have.

i  just discovered how beautiful the flowers are on it.

or if anyone knows how to exrract the seeds from okra, could I possibly buy one fresh from the farmers market & get the seeds out of it?

I dont do much with veggies, still reading & learning what will grow in my zone until next spring.

To anyone interested and promising to grow them out (and preferably pass them on), I have a special kind of garlic called Nootka Rose that keeps extremely well, a soft neck that is good for braiding. I might not check here often so leave me a note on my blog and I'll get back. Also have lots of Kingship parsnip seeds, but they don't remain viable all that long.

Free Exchange of Seeds & Spores
Hello, I started this Category for people wishing information on obtaining seeds or spores, help on starting and raising various plants and mushrooms. Since i just moved this year the only seeds i have available are 3 breeds of very hot peppers, one breed of hot bell peppers (Yes they taste like bell peppers with some nice heat, similar to a Jalapeno Peppers heat)many colors of morning glories, and i should have a nice amount of fig seeds. I also have a ton of orange and lemon seeds. All my tomatoes fried in this heat wave. I live in Southern California so my plants have been acclimated to dry heat for several years. I breed many of my own plants. If interested in these or others i will be growing, please post or write to me.
I do not sell seeds i believe they should be free as all plants should be.
Quicksilversteve@rock.com for seed request. I do have limited supplies since i grow organically, no i am not certified.
Please post if you have any questions about Plant or Mushroom breeding, cloning or tissue cell cultures.
Also if you have seeds, spores or plants you can give away.
People seeking specific plants/mushrooms are also welcome.
Please remember that plants, seeds and mushrooms might be in an over abundance in your area but in other places they would be rare if not impossible to find.
